The journal of “Pressure Vessel Technology” was founded in 1984. It is a journal in the first batch of academic journals officially recognized by the General Administration of Press and Publication. It is the journal of the Pressure Vessel Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. Its competent department is the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. It is sponsored by the Pressure Vessel Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and is undertaken by Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., and published by the editorial department of “Pressure Vessel Technology”. “Pressure Vessel Technology” is a top technical academic publication in the field of equipment manufacturing. It mainly reports the innovative basic theoretical research and outstanding scientific research achievements of engineering technology application in the pressure equipment sector and related disciplines, covering oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, metallurgical, energy, aerospace, national defense and military industry, environmental protection, marine development, etc. “Pressure Vessel Technology” was selected into the Excellence Action Plan for Chinese Sci-Tech Journals (echelon journals), a high-quality science and technology journal in the field of mechanical engineering (T1 level). Features of the Journal

Pressure equipment is widely used in petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, fuel gas, aerospace, national defense and military industries, involving materials, welding, analytical design, non-destructive testing, corrosion and corrosion protection, safety protection, pipelines, gas cylinders and other disciplines. It is one of technical development fields that China has been highlighting in the past 30 years, and has supported China to become a world strong manufacturing country.
